Once a normal wolf, now awakened. Whether by magic, a curse, or some other influence, you gained the intelligence of a humanoid.
Having developed a more complex personality, so too do their motivations become more varied. Some stay in the wilds, becoming the leaders of their packs, some have a master they wish to continue serving loyally while others wish to explore the world around them, seeing what it has to offer.

Wolf Stats

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity and Constitution score each increases by 1.

Size. Wolfs grow to be much larger then your average canine, getting up to 4 feet in height, although the average is around 3 feet. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Keen Hearing and Smell. You have advantage on on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common.

Wolf Features

Beast. You are considered a Beast instead of a humanoid. In addition you gain proficiency in the survival and intimidation skills.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Bite. Your fanged maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Pounce. If you it a creature with a meele attack on your turn, you may attempt to shove the target prone as a bonus action.

Quadrupedal. Your body type is different from the average humanoid and sometimes ill-suited for living in their world
Without aid, you can only wield one object or weapon at a time and it cannot be a ranged weapon.
While you do so you can no longer make use of your Bite and the Use an object Action on anything other that the item you are holding.
You can still perform the verbal and somatic components of spells with your maw and limbs however.
You cannot wear armor specifically designed for humanoids, if you gain proficiency in an armor type, such as from a class or feature, you can only wear it if the armor is considered barding (PHB P.155).
Additionally, you have disadvantage on using tools or objects that typicaly require hands to operate.
