1st-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a part of the targeted creature)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
As you reach out towards the target, the target needs to make a constitution saving throw. The creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw if it doesn’t have a heart. On a failure an illusionary copy of the targets heart appears in your hand which you can squeeze to deal 1d12 bludgeoning damage to the target (this counts as magic damage in order to overcome resistances).
On every following turn you can use your action to squeeze again and deal 1d12 bludgeoning damage to the target. The spell ends if you use your action to do anything else. The spell also ends if the target is ever outside the spell’s range or if it has total cover from you.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 1st.
